Jeff Riley has significant experience in state and local government relations. As Chief of Staff and Policy Director for City of Chicago Alderman Brendan Reilly, Riley served the heart of Chicago's downtown commercial and financial district. Previously, Riley was Legislative Liaison for the Illinois Toll Highway Authority and for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
He has extensive political experience, including Political Director for the Gery Chico for Mayor Campaign and as a field manager on behalf of the Democratic Party of Illinois, Illinois gubernatorial candidate Paul Vallas, Emily's List and during the 2000 presidential campaign. Earlier in his career, Riley served as Executive Director of the Illinois Death Penalty Education Project and Special Assistant to Cook County Assessor, Jim Houlihan. Riley is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and holds a Certificate in Leadership in Sustainability Management from the University of Chicago Graham School.
